We were called to help secure the Tuy Hoa Air base after they were hit by sappers. This is a night shot showing their perimeter. 1968
We always enjoyed being resupplied but these big boys always created a mess!

My recollection of this photo is that the Assistant Brigade Commander way flying behind the hill in the background. We were firing at something and he thought his chopper was hit. He was not happy.

This would be considered an Interstate Highway where we operated.
"Booster" on a C123. I always thought of them as being like a bumblebee...they didn't look like they should be able to fly!
